We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Data Center Migration to lead enterprise-scale Data Center Migration and Infrastructure Transformation projects for a leading multinational client. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end migration projects, ensuring seamless execution with minimal business disruption while maintaining governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, infrastructure knowledge, and proven experience delivering complex migration programs involving cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Data Center Migration projects from planning through execution and operational handover.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Plan and coordinate migration waves, cutover activities, rollback strategies, and migration execution.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Applications, Network, Security, and external vendors.
• Drive governance meetings, project status reporting, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure migration readiness through validation, testing, runbooks, and go-live planning.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate post-migration hypercare, decommissioning activities, and operational handover.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with business continuity, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Program Managers, PMO, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of Project Management experience, including 3–5 years managing Data Center Migration or Infrastructure Transformation projects.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure migration projects.
• Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure, including Compute, Storage, Network, and Security.
• Experience delivering migration models such as Lift & Shift, Hybrid Cloud, or Cloud Migration.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with project management and ITSM tools such as:
• Microsoft Project
• Jira
• ServiceNow
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and project governance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
