Account Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and managing payment operations and cash flow activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and monitor daily bank statements via Maybank2E to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions.
• Prepare and maintain daily cash position reports to support effective cash flow management.
• Perform payment knock-offs against creditor accounts to ensure proper reconciliation of outstanding balances.
• Execute interbank transfer transactions through Maybank2E in a timely and controlled manner.
• Create and manage short-term fund placements via the CITRIX system in line with treasury requirements.
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders by notifying staff on credited advances and claims via official correspondence.
• Support and coordinate payment-related matters during year-end audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and readiness.
• Process and monitor standing instruction payments, including:
• Petty cash disbursements
• Travelling and reimbursement claims
• Rental payments
• Statutory payments
• Road tax payments to JPJ
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements in all payment-related activities.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in payment processing, treasury operations, or cash flow management.
• Familiarity with banking platforms such as Maybank2E and financial systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• High integrity with strong compliance awareness.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
