Responsibilities

About the Role

KiN is now in Malaysia, and we are looking for a confident Front Office Manager to lead the guest journey and build a strong front office team in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader with strong hotel front office experience, preferably from a 5-star, luxury, upscale, or international hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Front Office operations, including reception, guest relations, reservations coordination, concierge, bell service, telephone support, and lobby experience.
  • Ensure smooth, accurate, warm, and professional check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Manage guest feedback, complaints, service recovery, and online reputation follow-up.
  • Maintain 5-star service standards, audit-ready SOPs, reports, guest privacy, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and schedule the Front Office team for consistent 24-hour coverage.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Sales, Revenue, F&B, Engineering, Security, Finance, and HR to support a seamless guest experience.
  • Support room revenue through upselling, room allocation, inventory discipline, direct booking conversion, and rate integrity.
  • Use PMS, reservation systems, and reporting tools to monitor occupancy, arrivals, VIPs, guest satisfaction, incidents, and operational follow-up.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree holder in the related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Front Office or Rooms Division experience, with supervisory or management exposure.
  • Experience in a 5-star, upscale, overseas, or international hotel environment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, guest recovery, team development, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • · Tech-savvy and familiar with PMS, reservation systems, Microsoft Office, hotel reporting tools, and digital guest-service platforms.
  • · Commercially aware, proactive, professional, well-groomed, composed, and service-minded.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
