Job Overview

Our client is looking for a UC Operations Engineer to support and manage Unified Communications (UC) and Audio Visual (AV) operations across enterprise meeting spaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AV systems, UC platforms, meeting room technologies, and stakeholder coordination.

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Highly Extendable)

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction plans for new meeting rooms and ensure compliance with global AV standards.
• Gather telecom and AV requirements from project stakeholders and prepare programming documentation.
• Support procurement of telecom and audiovisual hardware.
• Coordinate with AV vendors during project implementation, commissioning, and system validation.
• Plan and support meetings, webinars, and virtual events with internal stakeholders and executive teams.
• Provide live meeting support including presentation management, recording, Q&A moderation, participant controls, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate the delivery of post-meeting materials such as recordings and chat transcripts.
• Monitor AV and UC environments, respond to system alerts, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain accurate project updates and incident tickets using service management tools.
• Ensure reliable operation of AV and UC systems while delivering excellent user support.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Unified Communications (UC) Operations and Audio Visual (AV) support.
• Experience with enterprise meeting room technologies, conferencing systems, and webinar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AV operations, telecom systems, and meeting room infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, project teams, and business stakeholders.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification is an added advantage.
