Job Title: Facilities Data Center Engineer

Location: Singapore

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced M&E Facilities Data Center Engineer to manage the mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems for our state-of-the-art data centers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the M&E field, with a strong focus on data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of M&E systems in the data center, including HVAC, power distribution, UPS, and generators.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies for energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Lead or assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new M&E systems.
• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to coordinate maintenance schedules and repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring timely resolution of facility issues.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
• Provide technical support during audits, inspections, and certifications.
• Work closely with the data center operations team to ensure that the facilities support the needs of IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E facilities management, ideally in data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and backup power systems (e.g., UPS, generators).
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining critical infrastructure systems in a data center.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
