UST Malaysia Hiring! Full Time PCB Hardware Design Engineer (Junior) in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• To lead or participate in the design, development, and verification of validation platform/Boards.
• Collect requirements from validation team for the next generation of CPU/GPU/SOC validations needs (new IP/New validation methodology/coverage).
• Provide circuit design solution on a platform that will be used to validate the next generation of CPU/GPU/SOC; And ensure the Layout being done with High-Speed Digital knowledge and Design guides.
• Define development plans, validation plan, derive the cost estimations and risk assessment with mitigation plan for the project.
• Successfully tape out board in time and work closely with vendor to ensure the right PCB stack up to ensure manufacturability and right impedance for good Signal Integrity & Power Integrity.
• Work with Operations team to ensure materials and PCB available for board assembly in time.
• Validate the board with new CPU/GPU/SOC before release to internal customers and then provide Power On/execution supports accordingly, provide debug support if issue due to board design.
• Responds to internal customer/client requests or events as needed.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• At least 1 year of hardware design (PCB) experience.
• Basic knowledge in PC Architecture, electronic components, circuit design and etc.
• Good analytical and debug skill, and able to resolve the issues accordingly (Problem solving skill).
• Showing good communication, documentation and team works capability.
• Add on knowledge of Schematic, simulation and software programming is preferable.
• Ability to communicate (written & spoken) in Mandarin & English with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to relocate and work at Bayan Lepas Penang, Malaysia.
