Responsibilities
We're Hiring: Supply Chain Executive
One of our subsidiary companies, 3BUMI Trading Sdn Bhd, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to join our team.
Location: Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur (near MRT Jalan Ipoh)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (on-site)
Employment Type: 1-year contract (renewable subject to performance and business needs)
As a Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers, support price negotiations, and monitor supplier performance.
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, maintain inventory records, and ensure optimum stock availability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on demand forecasting and replenishment planning to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Coordinate logistics operations, shipping arrangements, transportation schedules, and liaise with 3PL service providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Oversee the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal departments regarding order status, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
• Handle import and export documentation, customs clearance processes (including K2 forms), and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Support halal supply chain compliance and maintain all related documentation.
• Analyze supply chain performance, prepare reports on key metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support business growth through supply chain optimization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in the food, FMCG, or halal industry.
Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and customs clearance processes (including K2 forms) is an added advantage.
Familiarity with halal compliance requirements and regulatory bodies is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
