Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise applications under the CEW & PDR platforms. The candidate will be responsible for Level 3 (L3) production support, issue investigation, application maintenance, and ensuring system stability in a banking or enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong Java Spring Boot development knowledge, Linux administration skills, and experience working with Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 application maintenance and production support for CEW & PDR applications.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system-related incidents within SLA timelines.
- Monitor application health, system performance, and batch processing activities.
- Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities across multiple environments.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and operational reports.
- Assist in application enhancements, bug fixes, and minor development activities.
- Ensure system availability, security compliance, and operational stability.
- Participate in release activities, production validation, and post-deployment support.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in application support, maintenance, or backend development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot development.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, preferably RHEL or equivalent Linux distributions such as SUSE Linux.
- Experience working with Oracle Database 12c / 19c.
- Familiarity with SQL and database troubleshooting activities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills in cross-functional team environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience supporting in-house solutions such as Client Entitlement Workflow (CEW) and Payment Data Repository (PDR).
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and JBoss application servers.
- Experience with Apache Web Server configuration and support.
- Familiarity with Shell Scripting and automation tasks.
- Experience with PL/SQL including procedures, views, and indexes.
- Exposure to workflow systems and enterprise process management platforms.
- Understanding of banking application support and production incident management processes.
