Responsibilities

We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to help build, evolve, and operate our cloud-native platform.


About the Role

In this role, you will work hands-on with Kubernetes, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevOps practices to ensure cloud-based products and services remain resilient, scalable, secure, and operationally efficient. You will play a key role in advancing a multi-cloud environment, strengthening platform capabilities, and implementing robust observability and monitoring solutions to support reliable operations across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to support scalable, reliable, and secure architectures.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud platform environments to ensure performance, availability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system health, uptime, and performance.
  • Embed security, compliance, and governance best practices into platform operations, processes, and ways of working.
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the platform engineering team, contributing to a strong engineering culture and team capability development.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud architectures and Cloud Native-solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


Required Skills

  • Strong Proficiency in Kubernetes and related tools such as Helm (and Operators).
  • Experience with public cloud platforms, AWS and Akamai/Linode Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with IaC and tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Able to build CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes based workloads, as well as GitOps such as ArgoCD.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana proficiency with Messaging Queues and Streaming would be a plus.
