We are representing a leading advanced engineering manufacturer specializing in high-mix, low-volume production, seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and transform its manufacturing operations.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling manufacturing capabilities, and supporting business growth through strong execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, polishing, mechanical and electrical assembly, refrigeration assembly, testing, packaging, and shipping
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to support both standard product lines and highly customized engineered-to-order systems
• Drive operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost through structured management systems and KPI accountability
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, standard work, flow optimization, and waste elimination
• Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement and structured problem-solving across the organization
• Improve factory performance by increasing throughput, enhancing productivity, reducing lead times, and improving first-pass yield
• Lead capacity planning, resource optimization, and workforce development to support business growth and increasing customer demands

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• Proven leadership experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing / Operational Excellence
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional production teams
• Experience in engineered products, precision manufacturing, or complex assemblies is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
