Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing crane structures and related components, preparing technical drawings, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce sketches in collaboration with engineers and drafters
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings for sales and project execution
• Develop detailed design drawings for manufacturing and structural steel submissions
• Design crane structures based on client requirements and site findings
• Design crane accessory brackets and end carriage span adjustments when required
• Prepare calculation for JKKP submission
• Submit calculations and technical documents to Professional Engineer (PE) for endorsement
• Provide technical support to Project Engineers, Sales Team, and customers
• Liaise with sales and project teams to ensure design meets client and site requirements
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings
• Support production team in resolving design and drawing issues
• Provide on-site technical support when required
• Ensure all design work complies with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, efficiency, and safety

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year working experience (experience in crane design is an added advantage)

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Strong technical and analytical skills

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
