experience in fabrication and welding Roles & Responsibilities

Fabrication & Welding

• Perform fabrication activities including cutting, notching, spot welding, grinding, tapping, measuring, drilling, and other related processes.
• Carry out welding works for mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and quality requirements.
• Ensure fabrication and welding work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within the required production schedule.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and ensure products comply with quality specifications.

Production & Coordination

• Plan and organize daily work activities to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support smooth production operations.
• Prepare weekly progress reports for management review.
• Work closely with team members to ensure project milestones and delivery schedules are achieved.

Quality & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform quality inspections on fabricated and welded parts to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain welding machines, fabrication equipment, and tools in good working condition.
• Coordinate machine servicing and preventive maintenance whenever required.
• Report equipment abnormalities or maintenance issues to the immediate superior.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to 5S principles and company safety policies.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of machines, tools, and workstations at all times.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Others

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

• SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, Metal Fabrication, or a related technical field.
• SPM holders with relevant fabrication and welding experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
