Job Summary
Micron is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations, time and attendance processing, statutory compliance, payroll reporting, and employee lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on payroll experience, knowledge of SAP Payroll and Workday, and the ability to work closely with HR, Finance, Treasury, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Time Management
- Manage end-to-end time and attendance processing.
- Validate employee attendance and integrate payroll data accurately.
- Review payroll reports to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders.
2. End-to-End Payroll Processing
- Execute monthly and off-cycle payroll processing accurately.
- Perform payroll reconciliation and prepare payroll reports.
- Process salary payments through GIRO and bank portals.
- Ensure timely statutory submissions, including CPF contributions.
- Maintain payroll compliance with company policies and Singapore regulations.
3. Employee Lifecycle & Exit Management
- Process final salary payments for resigned employees.
- Calculate leave encashment, overtime, and final settlements.
- Process severance payments where applicable.
- Prepare and submit IR21 Tax Clearance for foreign employees.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Employee Relations to resolve payroll-related matters.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Provide payroll reports to Treasury and Finance for month-end closing.
- Work closely with Stock Administration teams on ESPP-related payroll activities.
- Respond to employee payroll queries through Email, Phone, and ServiceNow within agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
5. Process Improvement & Projects
- Support SAP User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and payroll system enhancements.
- Participate in payroll automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to HR and payroll-related projects as assigned.

- Experience managing end-to-end payroll operations.
