The Mission

At Sensory AI, we are building the AI operating system for real-world physical retail. Our Ella stores combine robotics, coffee machines, POS systems, mobile ordering, computer vision, and real-time on-device customer interactions.

We are not looking for a generic software PM who just shuffles tickets.

We need a systems-thinking Product Manager to lead the planning, development, and delivery of practical Sensory AI products. You will act as the critical bridge transforming complex technical telemetry (computer vision, object detection, edge AI, and LLMs) into deterministic, real-world retail workflows that improve customer experience and drive business margin.

What you will Actually Do

You will fully own the product lifecycle and delivery pipeline from idea to launch:

• Product Strategy & AI Use Cases: Define the product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities. Collaborate with the AI engineering pods to lock down model behaviors, expected outputs, and business logic.
• Requirement Gathering & Safety Specifications: Write rock-solid Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure AI outputs are usable, explainable, and safely constrained by business rules before triggering side effects.
• Sprint & Project Management: Prioritize the sprint backlog, remove blockers, manage agile planning, and closely coordinate product demos, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release cycles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central hub connecting AI engineers, backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA, operations, and management.
• Performance & Impact Tracking: Monitor product usage, adoption, and performance metrics post-launch to continuously improve workflows and prove actual business value.
  

Must Have:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical Business Analyst.
• Deep experience writing functional PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and mapping out workflow diagrams.
• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• The ability to translate highly technical AI architecture into clear, non-jargon roadmaps for business and operations stakeholders.
• Clean user experience (UX) and user-centered design judgment.

Strong Bonus:

• Direct experience working on AI, computer vision, machine learning, IoT, or edge device products.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, system integrations, and data contracts.
• Understanding of LLM-based products, conversational interfaces, AI agents, or workflow automation.
• Mastery of Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Notion.
