Role Description The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on solar PV and related systems. This full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam involves managing project schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery from initiation to completion. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing procurement and expediting activities, coordinating logistics, supervising inspections and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, prepare project reports and documentation, and proactively address risks and issues. This role also requires maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as working as an Expeditor and performing Expediting activities for materials and equipment.
• Candidates should possess logistics-related skills, including Logistics Management and coordination of transport, warehousing, and on-site deliveries.
• Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including Inspection of materials, workmanship, and compliance with standards and specifications.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of renewable energy or construction projects, preferably in solar PV or related fields.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• A relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related discipline, and familiarity with industry regulations and safety practices, would be beneficial.
