Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will drive sales growth by preparing budgets, achieving targets, and expanding market share in Singapore’s industrial packaging sector. You will provide technical and commercial support, build strong customer relationships, and stay updated on industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage sales budgets to meet or exceed sales targets in the local market
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and new customers to enhance customer loyalty
- Deliver commercial and technical support to customers to resolve product-related inquiries and issues
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding product features and technical specifications
- Develop strategies to expand market share and increase the customer base effectively
- Conduct market research within the existing customer base to gather feedback on sales and after-sales service quality
- Monitor industry news, competitor activities, and product developments to inform sales strategies
- Support future business growth by preparing for frequent overseas business trips as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a tertiary education in engineering
- Hold a valid Class 3 driving license
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant sales or engineering experience preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with diverse customers and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels

- Basic salary plus AWS, variable bonus, and commission
