Job Summary

Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Lead accounting staff and support financial planning, cost control, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations to maintain accurate financial records and support business objectives
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to inform management decisions
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements to maintain financial integrity
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and professional development
• Assist in financial planning and cost control initiatives to optimize resource allocation and profitability

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience
• Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and lead teams
