Role Description The Business Analyst / Data Analyst role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Singapore River, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role focuses on analyzing business and operational data to generate insights that support strategic decisions, process improvements, and commercial performance across QME Trade’s regional activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and validating data from multiple sources, building reports and dashboards, and performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. The analyst collaborates with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions, document processes, and recommend enhancements to workflows and systems. The role also involves preparing clear presentations and summaries for management, supporting forecasting and planning, and contributing to projects that strengthen QME Trade’s role in the global F&B supply chain.

• Candidates should possess Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to translate stakeholder needs into clear specifications and actionable solutions.
• Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map, assess, and optimize workflows and operational practices.
• Candidates should possess Communication skills to present findings clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare concise reports for decision-makers.
• Candidates should ideally have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency in Excel or similar analytical tools.
• A background in business, economics, data analytics, or a related field, with prior experience in an analyst role, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with F&B distribution, supply chain, or regional MENA markets is an advantage, along with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
