Solar Project Coordinator

Salary: Basic $2,500 – $3,200 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Potong Pasir
Working Days: Monday to Friday , 9am to 6pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Solar Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) projects from planning through completion. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, site teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of multiple residential and commercial solar PV projects.
• Schedule site surveys, installation activities, inspections, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
• Identify potential project risks or delays and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate the procurement and allocation of materials and equipment to support project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate manpower and resources to meet project timelines.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing installation documentation, photographs, and QA/QC checklists.
• Coordinate with Solar Engineers on system layouts, installation requirements, and technical documentation.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable workplace safety requirements, building regulations, and electrical standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the installation process.
• Provide regular project updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, site supervision, operations, or a related role.
• Experience in the solar, electrical, construction, or engineering industry will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good attention to detail when reviewing technical documents, permits, and installation records.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to prepare and communicate daily site progress updates using digital communication tools (e.g. WhatsApp).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
