Job Summary

The role assesses the condition of pre-owned vehicles and prepares evaluation reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle exterior, interior, undercarriage, chassis, engine bay, and boot compartments to assess condition and identify issues
• Perform battery safety and health diagnostics on electrical and hybrid vehicles to ensure operational reliability
• Road test vehicles to detect mechanical, handling, or safety concerns affecting vehicle performance
• Capture photographic and video evidence of findings and organize them securely for reference and reporting
• Document inspection results accurately in evaluation reports and complete reports within designated timelines
• Assist with other related tasks as required to support vehicle evaluation operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent education; specialization in automotive is advantageous
• Experience in automotive evaluation, inspection, or related roles
• Proficiency with car systems and components to support thorough vehicle assessments
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to vehicle diagnostics and evaluations
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within the evaluation team
• High attention to detail and technical competence to maintain quality and accuracy in inspections
