Job Description

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA/CPA). 
  • Experience: 3–5 years handling full-set accounts and monthly closings. 
  • Inventory & Costing: Experience with landed cost calculations and tracking high-value imported stock down to spare parts. 
  • Data Handling: Ability to reconcile financial data from offline retail, e-commerce, and B2B services. 
  • Compliance: Hands-on experience with Malaysian SST, corporate tax, and payroll statutory filings (EPF, SOCSO, PCB). 
  • Traits: Fast, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-energy, entrepreneurial showroom environment. 

Responsibilities

Representing Malaysia’s premier retailer, distributor, and regional authority on high-end speciality coffee equipment, looking for a detailed, agile, and self-motivated Accountant to join a growing, high-energy team. In this role, you will move beyond basic bookkeeping to take ownership of end-to-end full-set accounting, inventory reconciliation, and operational compliance. You will serve as a vital bridge between our commercial sales pipeline, our technical service division, and our overall financial health.

Financial Reporting & Full-Set Accounting

  • Manage and oversee the full set of day-to-day accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate management reports.
  • Monitor cash flow movements, prepare financial forecasts, and conduct variance analyses to support business decisions.

Inventory Control & Costing

  • Given our extensive range of premium imported espresso machines and spare parts, you will handle costing, landed cost calculations, and multi-location inventory reconciliations.
  • Partner closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to track stock movements and investigate discrepancies.

Tax, Compliance & Audit

  • Prepare and execute Sales and Service Tax (SST) submissions
  • accurately and within deadlines.
  • Manage corporate tax computations, tax provisions, and ensure adherence to local statutory regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries, preparing all necessary audit schedules and compliance documentation

Payroll Administration

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee compensation information.
  • Process overtime, allowances, commissions, claims, and deductions.
  • Ensure statutory compliance for EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other
  • payroll-related requirements.
  • Coordinate with payroll software providers or outsourced payroll
  • service providers where applicable.
