Kerry Consulting Hiring! Full Time Lead Data Security Engineer in - Ricebowl

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Security Engineer to design, implement, and enhance enterprise data security capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to strengthen data protection, improve security architecture, and support the organisation's cybersecurity strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operationalise enterprise data security solutions across structured and unstructured data.
• Enhance security architecture and recommend improvements to address evolving cyber threats.
• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and deployment of security technologies.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise data protection capabilities, including data discovery and classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption, masking, tokenisation, digital rights management, key and certificate management, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and secure data transfer and access controls.
• Design and implement data protection controls across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Partner with technology teams to embed security-by-design into enterprise platforms.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture standards, and operating procedures.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data security and protection initiatives.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing enterprise data security and protection technologies.
• Expertise in DLP, encryption, data classification, cloud security, IAM, and key management.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Programming or scripting experience (Python, Java, C#, or similar) and familiarity with REST APIs.
• Exposure to SIEM, incident response, endpoint security, or threat intelligence is advantageous.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
