Role Overview
The R&D Engineering Intern will support the research and development team in design verification, testing, data analysis, and technical investigation activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to real engineering problems, laboratory work, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in testing, validation, and characterization of electronic systems and components.
- Support debugging and failure analysis activities under guidance from senior engineers
- Collect, analyze, and document test data and experimental results
- Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and investigation summaries
- Support prototype build, lab setup, and equipment operation
- Follow established engineering procedures, safety guidelines, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing R&D projects and improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits, digital logic, and embedded systems
- Familiarity with measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer) is an advantage
- Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot technical issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and attention to detail
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Exposure to ADC, DAC, SPI/I²C communication, or microcontroller systems
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., C, Python, or MATLAB)
- Experience with lab testing or project-based coursework
