Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

The R&D Engineering Intern will support the research and development team in design verification, testing, data analysis, and technical investigation activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to real engineering problems, laboratory work, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in testing, validation, and characterization of electronic systems and components.
  • Support debugging and failure analysis activities under guidance from senior engineers
  • Collect, analyze, and document test data and experimental results
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and investigation summaries
  • Support prototype build, lab setup, and equipment operation
  • Follow established engineering procedures, safety guidelines, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing R&D projects and improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits, digital logic, and embedded systems
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer) is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and attention to detail


Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Exposure to ADC, DAC, SPI/I²C communication, or microcontroller systems
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., C, Python, or MATLAB)
  • Experience with lab testing or project-based coursework
