Bitsy or also known as Bitsy Artisan is a passionate and innovative bakery brand located at Bandar Cukai, Kemaman Terengganu dedicated to creating delightful, handcrafted baked goods that bring joy to every bite. Founded on a love for quality ingredients and creative recipes, we specialize in a wide range of products including artisanal breads, decadent cakes, delicate pastries, and signature cookies. Now, we are seeking a Commis 3 to join our team.

Responsibilities :

1. Food Preparation and Cooking

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving food according to the company’s recipes and established standards.

2. Quality Control and Food Presentation

  • Ensure the quality of every dish is at its best before being served to customers.
  • Oversee plating and presentation to ensure dishes look appealing and professional.
  • Ensure all dishes are delivered on time and in perfect condition.

3. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels of raw ingredients, additives, and kitchen supplies regularly.
  • Report any shortages to the Chef for replenishment.
  • Ensure all stock is stored according to the First In First Out (FIFO) system to maintain ingredient freshness.

4. Freshness and Hygiene

  • Ensure all cooking ingredients remain fresh and are stored at the appropriate temperature and conditions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials to prevent wastage or contamination.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including equipment, work areas, and storage spaces.
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as required by health authorities.

5. Kitchen Operations Support

  • Assist the Chef in menu preparation, new recipe trials, and food promotion activities.
  • Support other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Chef or management from time to time.
  • Ensure each dish is prepared carefully, maintaining consistent taste, texture, and quality.
  • Prepare raw ingredients by cutting, cleaning, and storing them properly.
