• Plan and control the daily supply of production materials according to the production schedule.
• Ensure all raw materials, components, and packaging materials are available before production starts.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Purchasing to replenish materials on time.
• Verify material requests, issuance, and returns to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) movement and ensure smooth material flow throughout production.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Monitor material shortages and take immediate corrective actions to avoid production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO practices where applicable.
• Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, stock variances, and inventory-related issues.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate material transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare material requirement reports, inventory status reports, and shortage reports for management review.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning (PMC), Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality departments to ensure efficient material flow.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring material readiness.
• Supervise and guide Material Controllers and Material Handlers in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and safety requirements.
• Participate in monthly and annual stock take activities.
• Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and continuous process improvement.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S) within material storage and production areas.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
