Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Finance and ICT department. In this role, you will be responsible for handling daily procurement tasks, ensuring smooth vendor coordination, and supporting the hospital’s operational needs under the guidance of your immediate superior.
Key Responsibilities
- PO & Order Management: Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and accurately raise and email Purchase Orders (PO) to vendors in a timely manner.
- Vendor Follow-up: Actively track and follow up with vendors to guarantee timely delivery of goods, expediting orders for all approved PRs.
- Documentation & Verification: Verify that pricing and quantities match across Delivery Orders (DO) and invoices before submitting them to the store for receiving.
- Sourcing & Evaluation: Source new products as requested by various hospital departments. Coordinate the distribution of new product samples and collect evaluation forms from the relevant teams.
- Administrative Support: Maintain a systematic, accurate, and organized filing system for all procurement documents. Assist with daily internal dispatch tasks within the hospital premises.
- Team Collaboration: Cover the processing of PRs into POs in the absence of the Procurement Executive. Actively participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality initiatives, performing any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: Minimum SPM qualification.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant working experience in procurement. Prior experience working within a hospital or healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Technical Skills: Computer literate (familiarity with basic office software and procurement systems).
- Personal Attributes: Honest, possesses high integrity, and has a pleasant personality suitable for a collaborative hospital environment.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
