Full Time Sourcing Officer Jobs, salary up to MYR 4,500 in SAM Engineering & Equipment (M) Bhd Bayan Lepas - Ricebowl

Join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in sourcing quality materials, developing strategic supplier partnerships, and driving cost-effective procurement to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source materials and components based on BOM, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, quotations, and supplier documentation.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and lead times.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct vendor evaluations, and support supplier audits.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, price lists, and Oracle ERP data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability and project success.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain.

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain, or SPM with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in material or supply management within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
• Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle experience is an advantage).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
