Core responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement
- Implement and maintain the Company's Integrated Management System
- Conduct contract negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved
- Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law
- Responsible for cost control & planning and procurement advice
- Preparation of payment certificates
- Review the subcontractor's quotation for completeness and prepare comparison for Director's approval
- Assist to prepare project budget including monitoring on regular basis
- Prepare quotations and progress claims to clients
- Prepare work orders and claims to sub-contractors
- Prepare tender/quotation reports
- Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.
- Other quantity surveying duties assigned
- Site visit and attend site meeting
- Carry out site measurement
- Project final account settlement
- Manage team of Quantity Surveyors (Senior QS)
- Other senior quantity surveying duties assigned
Job Specification
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Building / QS
- Understand architectural requirement under SIA form of contracts
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office
