As the company continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in financial reporting, project accounting, budgeting and business support.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad accounting role, working closely with operational teams while contributing to business performance
Key Responsibilities
As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within reporting deadlines.
- Prepare management reports, financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow reports.
- Handle high-volume accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with project and operational teams to monitor project profitability, costs, and financial performance.
- Review project expenditures and provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, corporate tax, audit, and regulatory reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities.
- Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy.
- Participate in finance projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of commercial accounting experience.
- Proven experience handling full set of accounts independently.
- Strong month-end and year-end closing experience.
- Experience preparing financial reports and management accounts.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP (mandatory).
- Experience handling large transaction volumes within a commercial environment.
- Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards, GST and statutory reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills across different business functions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
