We’re looking for a talented Construction Manager to join our Malaysia office as we continue growing across Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and leadership abilities, a proactive approach to project execution, and the passion for delivering impactful results across various initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee day-to-day site activities and work sequencing.
- Enforce strict HSE practice and standards.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Prepare weekly site progressive report.
- Prepare weekly site meeting minutes.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and obtain permits and licences.
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Prepare and monitor snagging list completion rigorously.
Requirement:
- min. 5 years façade project management experience required.
- Able to identify specialist drawing/architectural/MEP/Structural termination details
- Ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, risk, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage pressure.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in project delivery.
- Highly organized and capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor or Revit software will be an advantage.
