We’re Hiring: Senior Costing Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Senior Costing Engineer to join our Commercial team.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate project costing, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control to support project performance and business decision-making across our Oil & Gas operations.

Your Role

As Senior Costing Engineer, you will:

Project Cost Control & Monitoring

• Develop and maintain project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Prepare and monitor project control budgets and expenditure tracking
• Monitor project commitments, costs, and financial performance
• Prepare and maintain Forecast at Completion (FAC) projections
• Determine Value of Work Done (VOWD) / percentage of completion for revenue recognition
• Identify, analyse, and manage project variations, risks, and cost impacts
• Support corrective and preventive actions to improve project performance

Financial Planning & Tender Support

• Prepare and monitor project cash flow projections
• Develop project costing for new bids and tenders
• Support commercial evaluation and project financial analysis

Process Improvement & Team Support

• Establish guidelines, templates, and processes for effective cost management
• Support, mentor, and guide team members where required
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Commercial function

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in costing, commercial, or project control functions
• Strong knowledge of cost management and project financial control
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract/project environments
• Strong technical and report writing capabilities
• Proactive, resourceful, and highly detail-oriented
