Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary:-

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance team in daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be involved in handling accounts receivable, staff claims, payroll assistance, petty cash, and general accounting support duties to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes.

Job Responsibilities:-

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Record customer receipts accurately and timely in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and issue monthly customer statements.

Expense & Claims Processing:

  • Process and verify staff expense claims in accordance with company policies.
  • Record relevant expenses in the accounting system.

Cash Management:

  • Manage and maintain petty cash, including disbursement and replenishment.
  • Ensure all petty cash transactions are properly recorded and supported.

Payroll Support:

  • Assist with monthly payroll calculations, including tracking and compiling staff punch card records for attendance.

Administrative & Filing Duties:

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
  • Support general administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:-

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL accounting software would be an added advantage
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial data.
