Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce the company's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies, procedures, and legal requirements at project sites and production facilities.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor workers, subcontractors, and visitors to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
  • Carry out risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for work activities.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training for new employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all personnel wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with site safety requirements.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed investigation reports with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor high-risk activities
  • Ensure all lifting equipment, machinery, tools, and safety equipment are properly inspected, certified, and maintained.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, government authorities, and external auditors on safety inspections and compliance matters.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through continuous education, awareness campaigns, and proactive safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), DOSH regulations, CIDB safety requirements, and other applicable statutory regulations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Registered Safety Supervisor or equivalent certification recognized by DOSH/CIDB is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, precast manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation and industry best practices.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prepare safety reports and maintain proper documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
