We’re supporting one of our key clients who is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong experience managing complex automated projects within the financial services domain. Reinsurance industry exposure is preferred.

Digital Project Manager - AI & Data Transformation Reporting To:

• Head of PMO

Role Focus:

• Oversee the delivery of digital, data, and AI transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities: Delivery Management

• Lead digital, data, and AI projects from start to finish.
• Define project goals, success metrics, and track outcomes post-implementation.
• Manage project execution, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
• Create and maintain essential project documents (charters, roadmaps, logs, etc.).
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure quality and governance.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business leaders and teams to align on project objectives.
• Facilitate workshops to define problems and document requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate across business and technology teams for clarity on roles and priorities.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks and operational risks.
• Prepare business teams for changes in processes and operating models.

Methodology Application

• Apply suitable delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid) based on project needs.
• Maintain discipline in planning, testing, and decision-making.

Innovation and Improvement

• Identify opportunities for AI and data-driven improvements.
• Stay updated on trends in AI and digital technologies.
• Contribute to enhancing project delivery practices.

Customer Focus

• Ensure solutions meet customer and business needs through effective execution.
• Manage release readiness, including testing and support.
• Track success measures post-launch.

Job Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in digital, data, or technology projects.
• Proven experience in delivering AI or data-enabled projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
• Understanding of a business domain (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.).
• Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, etc.).
• Relevant project delivery certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) are a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in AI and analytics within high-volume service environments.
• Familiarity with data delivery and analytics workflows.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience managing external vendors or consulting partners.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
