Job Objectives :

• Reliability Lab Engineer focuses on designing, developing, and executing tests for new or modified products, processes, and services. They play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and reliability by identifying and resolving defects through rigorous testing and analysis. Keys roles and responsible to ensure all relevant mechanical and electrical test of height adjustable frame systems, in compliance to international ISO EN and BIFMA standards.

Roles And Responsibilities :

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for various product releases.

Create and maintain test setups and contribute to test automation by developing and reviewing automated test scripts.

Identify, report, and track software and hardware defects, and conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying issues.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other engineers, to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements.

Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing processes and improve product quality.

Provide technical expertise and support to other team members,and contribute to the development of test strategies and best practices.

Validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of products through various testing methods, including functional, performance, and security testing.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective testing methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of engineering principles, testing methodologies, and relevant software and hardware technologies.

Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python or TCL, for test automation is an added advantage.

Requirements :

• Require a degree in engineering and at least 1-2 years of experience in the field
• The position will be located in the Penang office
• Must be thorough in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• A good written and verbal skill in English with the ability to communicate with external and internal teams is essential
• High focus on company’s goals and objectives
• Strong people’s skills to be able to work as a team member and contribute towards the growth of a healthy work environment at Actiforce
• Ability to present creative solutions and work independently
• Deliver high quality work under tight schedules and deadline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
