Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the Company's recipes and quality standards.
• Assist the Head Chef in the preparation, cooking, and daily operation of the kitchen.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet Company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labelling, and FIFO procedures.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimizing food wastage.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Comply with all food safety, health, and Company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Company or the Head Chef.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a restaurant, café, or commercial kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform manual kitchen duties.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required by operational needs.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
