Responsibilities

About the role


As a People Experience Intern at The Great Room (“TGR”) (hereinafter known as "Industrious"), you will be responsible for acting as the team’s backbone by carrying out a wide range of tasks that will contribute at a hands-on level to the People Experience Team.


A successful People Experience Intern will be responsible for ensuring that processes and structures are well carried out to support the People Experience team.


The People Experience Intern will report to the Director of People Experience.


What you’ll do


Administration

  • Upload and maintain the internal database with high accuracy
  • Housekeeping the HRIS


Recruitment

  • Create social media content relating to recruitment
  • Post and manage recruitment advertisements on job boards and social media platforms
  • Handle recruitment-related matters including, scheduling calls and interviews, maintaining the candidate database, and handling paperwork.


HR Operations

  • Assist in the compliance of HR policies and processes
  • Assist in the research and implementation of HR systems/platforms that enable scale, efficiency, and risk reductions by automating and minimising manual processes
  • Assist in developing standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
  • Assist in various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives


HR Analysis

  • Assist in HR surveys, data, metrics, and statistics for analysis, reports, and recommendations to improve HR experience including, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance


Staff engagement

  • Assist in the Employee’s engagement program & activities
  • Assist in drafting HR newsletters and announcements


Who you are


Requirements

  • Interested candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Qualities

  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong organisational and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confidence in interacting with vendors, speakers, and cross-company teams at all different levels of seniority
  • Self-starter with a good attitude toward learning
