What you'll do
Strategic:
- Investigate and implement new tools and innovations in the field of SWDL & Final Test.
- Improve working process in the ME SWDL & Final Test Global setup to have sustainable and efficient processes.
- Coach and increase competence when and where it is required in the ME SWDL & Final Test Community.
- Support strategic activities with other stakeholders to improve day-to-day production in factories.
- Having a good network with Software ART organizations in PDS and PDG to transfer product and domain knowledge.
Program:
- Have in depth knowledge of all disciplines in ME SWDL & Final Test.
- In cooperating with R&D to develop software TR (Technical Regulation)
- Responsible for the setup & maintenance of VCATS system. Manage and maintain the subsystem of VCATS (QBAY/XBAY/GRADE_X/BIS)
- Give manufacturing and production approval to R&D in own responsible area.
- Develop diagnostic method with R&D.
- Develop and maintain the EOL script.
- Lead cross functional team (including IT, PPM, Tooling etc.) for whole SW related Manufacturing Readiness
- Establish & simulate manufacturing environment on Box car, perform Software integration test
- Secure detailed specifications of equipment/tools in own responsible area.
- Secure detailed functionality of equipment/tools in own responsible area.
- Verify process/product in virtual and physical series in own responsible area.
- Lead 2nd line analysis during program phase for both product and process issues with cross functional team.
- Secure that appropriate R&D, Supplier, Production, launch competences are involved in the cross functional concern analysis.
- Work as member of global SW team, secure commonality for EOL SWDL and EOL Test data application between VCC plants.
- Give feedback on lessons learned from project and internal manufacturing engineering in own responsible area.
Running Production:
- Support top critical running software issues with leadership and expertise
Competence and Qualification Requirement
- Minimum bachelor's degree in related field
- Knowledge of process, methods and tools at VCC Manufacturing
- Rich work experience with automotive electrical architecture concepts, e.g., fault tracing of car networks
- Knowledge of programming technique
- Knowledge of electric & software product properties and specifications
- Knowledge of electric test process and equipment development and commissioning
- Working experience in an international and/or diverse environment
- Experience from car production process
- Knowledge of relevant manufacturing quality assurance methods
- Green Belt competence
- Lean manufacturing competence and strong ability to co-operate
- Proven leadership competence
