Customer Master Data Associate

Job Summary:

The Customer Master Data Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and governance of customer master data. This role ensures high data quality standards, supports internal stakeholders, and delivers outputs within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and update customer master records accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with established SLAs, policies, and business data governance.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer accounts are set up correctly and efficiently.
• Handle and resolve internal inquiries related to customer master data creation, maintenance, and validation.
• Perform ongoing data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data.
• Prepare and process batch uploads for mass customer creation or change requests.
• Identify system issues, data gaps, and process inefficiencies; provide recommendations to improve system functionality and data quality.
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report customer master data transactions, ensuring compliance with governance standards and internal controls.
• Local Time Zone Coverage: Lead day-to-day operations and stakeholder communications strictly aligned with the local country's business hours and workdays.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Knowledge of or hands‑on experience with SAP systems.
• Previous experience in customer master data, master data management, or data‑related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic data analysis and validation functions.
