Sales Manager
Sales Manager (Hunter) role focuses on business development and generating new revenue streams for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a sales team to achieve group revenue target
- Identify and secure new business prospects for our freight and third-party logistics services within the Group
- Provide quotation/sales agreement to prospective customers and follow-up till the deals are closed
- Attend and resolve any payment issues, feedback or disputes raised by customers
- Create positive and long-lasting relationships with current and potential customers
- Maintain close coordination with superior to ensure profitability of sales leads is better performed than budgeted figures
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations and reporting
- Participate in global and local tenders
- Maintain sales-related database
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma holder in Logistics / Business or related field
- Hunter role with own motivation to achieve sales target
- 5 years’ sales experience with a track record in sales and business development in the logistics & freight forwarding industry
- Strong customer based and good working network among customers
- Existing business pipelines and connections will be an advantage
- Able to secure customers from these industries: food, E-commence, project cargo, automotive, chemical, oil & gas and furniture
- Self-motivated and possess drive to meet sales target
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Preferably possess own car
