Role Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the organization's financial management, planning, and reporting functions while ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting, providing strategic insights that support business growth and executive decision-making.

The Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance, strengthen governance, improve financial processes, and ensure the organization achieves its financial objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management dashboards.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, and liquidity planning.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Establish and maintain effective financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Partner with business units to provide financial guidance, performance analysis, and decision support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee financial systems, reporting tools, and data integrity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance, taxation, internal controls, risk management, and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial reporting software, business intelligence platforms, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage.
