Role Description This full-time Junior AI Engineer / AI Analyst role is a hybrid position based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and flexible work-from-home arrangements. The role involves designing, training, and evaluating AI models to support museum-related initiatives such as digital archives, visitor engagement tools, and educational content. Responsibilities include analyzing data sets, identifying patterns and trends, and implementing algorithms to improve information retrieval and recommendation systems. The Junior AI Engineer / AI Analyst will collaborate with curators, historians, and technical staff to translate domain needs into AI solutions, document workflows, and maintain clear technical reports. Additional tasks include assisting with software development, testing, deployment of AI services, and monitoring system performance to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science with practical experience in Software Development and algorithmic thinking.
- Applied knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for classification, prediction, and data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for text analysis, search optimization, and content understanding.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, R, or similar) and relevant libraries or frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to producing reliable outputs.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant internships or projects in AI/ML are an advantage.
