Role Description The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tuas, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth, efficient workflows. This role includes supervising warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage shipping and receiving activities, coordinate material handling, oversee inventory accuracy, and ensure proper documentation and labeling of goods. The role involves planning and organizing storage layouts, optimizing space utilization, and working closely with logistics and transport teams to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements. The Warehouse Supervisor will also ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and staff training.
- Candidates should possess skills in shipping and receiving processes, including documentation, coordination of inbound and outbound cargo, and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Candidates should possess experience in material handling and inventory control, including stock counting, storage planning, and maintaining inventory records.
- Candidates should possess practical forklift operation skills and an understanding of equipment safety procedures.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in warehouse management systems, knowledge of safety and compliance regulations, and familiarity with hazardous and temperature-controlled cargo handling.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are preferred.
