Job Summary
Coordinate and lead cleaning operations to ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency. Supervise staff, manage schedules, maintain equipment and supplies, and communicate with stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks to meet operational needs
- Supervise cleaning staff to ensure efficient completion of duties and adherence to standards
- Assign work schedules, monitor attendance, and manage shift coverage to maintain team productivity
- Inspect cleaned areas to verify quality, hygiene, and safety compliance
- Train new cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols to ensure competency
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies to prolong usability and safety
- Monitor inventory levels and request cleaning materials timely to avoid shortages
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Address and resolve cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly to uphold service quality
- Maintain cleaning records, checklists, and reports for accurate documentation and accountability
- Communicate effectively with management or clients regarding cleaning needs and updates
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance cleaning processes and efficiency
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related cleaning or supervisory role
- Willingness to work alternative shifts based on schedule
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
