Role Description The Master Production Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining master production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity for semiconductor equipment. The Master Production Planner collaborates closely with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, efficient resource utilization, and adherence to lead times. Day-to-day activities include analyzing demand forecasts, creating and updating production plans, coordinating material availability, monitoring work-in-progress, and resolving scheduling conflicts. The role also involves tracking key production metrics, identifying process improvements, and supporting new product introductions and engineering changes to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
Qualifications
  • Strong production planning, scheduling, and capacity management skills, with experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics processes, ideally within high-tech or semiconductor industries.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency with Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and customer-facing teams.
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Relevant experience in semiconductor or complex capital equipment manufacturing is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and experience driving process enhancements is a plus.
