Role
As our QA/QC Engineer, you hold a crucial role in strengthening the quality standards of the organisation, through effective implementation of quality procedures, whilst ensuring customer’s quality concerns addressed are managed and resolved.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders in areas of quality, non-conformance and compliance (NCR)
- Handle and Approve First Article Submissions and reports
- Resolve Quality issues with internal and external parties
- Ensure effectiveness of corrective actions (8D) for customer complaints
- Maintain calibration of measuring equipment
- Coordinate and report outstanding quality issues, specifications or process changes to Quality Manager
- Assist in maintaining ISO System, reports, follow-up and closure
- Facilitate in both internal and external audits, report audit findings to QA Manager, and suggest improvement plans
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
- Preferably 2 to 5 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
- Well versed in quality engineering (PPAP, SPC, engineering drawing reading), advanced metrology, maintenance of quality certifications, product quality inspection requirements, calibration control, customer complaints & continuous improvement
- Experienced in CNC precision manufacturing sector
- Demonstrates resilience and drive excellence within the workplace
- Skilled in Microsoft Office - MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
- Familiar with LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S & ISO 9001 experience advantageous
