;helpAbout the Role
We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor & Content Creator Intern to join our team. This is not just a "cut and trim" role; we need someone who lives and breathes visual storytelling and is eager to leverage the latest AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. You will be instrumental in taking raw footage and transforming it into compelling content that resonates with our audience and maintains our brand voice.
What You Will Do
- Video Post-Production: Edit raw video footage into polished, final products. This includes selecting the best shots, trimming content, and assembling sequences to craft coherent and engaging narratives for platforms like [e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn].
- Audio Enhancement: Clean up audio tracks, adjust levels, and integrate music and sound effects to ensure high-quality audio that perfectly complements the visual experience.
- Content Creation: Go beyond editing to contribute to the creative process. This includes assisting with storyboarding, suggesting B-roll concepts, creating thumbnails, and developing short-form content (e.g., Reels, Shorts) that drives engagement.
- GenAI: Utilise AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and helping you in video creation.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all video and copy outputs adhere strictly to our existing brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look, feel, and tone across all projects.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with managers and cross-functional team members to ensure the video content aligns with the broader marketing strategy and accompanying visual/auditory assets.
Who You Are
- Passionate: You have a burning passion for video editing and storytelling. You watch content not just for entertainment, but to deconstruct how it was made.
- Technically Proficient: You have hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (or Final Cut Pro for Mac users).
- AI Familiar: You are actively using or experimenting with AI tools and understand how they can revolutionize the editing workflow.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for detail, nothing slips past you, from a frame-itch in a cut to a subtle color mismatch.
- Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Hungry to Learn: You have a growth mindset. You are willing to learn new software, accept constructive feedback, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
