This role ensures daily technical smoothness in HK office while collaborating closely with our IT team in the PRC. The ideal candidate will provide solid front-line desktop, hardware, and network support (no programming/coding required) while remaining hands-on to handle minor office facilities maintenance and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Software, Hardware & Network Support
Provide day-to-day first-line IT technical support for local users, including hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows support and Microsoft 365 setup.
Fix connectivity issues and maintain basic office network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, LAN, Router) and workplace equipment (Printers, IP phone systems, and video conferencing tools).
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding technical configurations, including hardware setup, laptop deployment, system account creation, and access control.
Keep accurate and up-to-date inventories of all IT software licenses and hardware assets using Excel or internal management systems.
Provide basic local support for any upcoming IT projects, system rollouts, or infrastructure upgrades.
2. Regional Collaboration
Act as the primary local IT contact to collaborate with the PRC IT team on regional system synchronization, deployments, and troubleshooting.
3. Office Operations & Facilities Maintenance
Monitor the physical office environment, ensuring server room conditions, utilities, and general office configurations are functioning normally.
Handle minor office facilities troubleshooting and maintenance
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Higher Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in IT desktop/user support, preferably within an SME environment where handling cross-functional operational duties is required.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows/Mac OS, basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi configuration)
Languages: Fluent in Cantonese; basic Mandarin and English
Able to look at workflows, assist in creating solutions, and support new system implementations will be preferrable
Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerShell, VBA) or familiarity with low-code automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) learned from studies or previous work to support basic automation workflows will be preferrable
