Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for the organization's compliance function. This role is responsible for assisting with the coordination of compliance activities, maintaining accurate records, supporting documentation management, and helping ensure that compliance processes are carried out efficiently and consistently.

The Compliance Assistant will assist in maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and documentation, monitor the completion of compliance-related activities, and organize records for internal reviews, audits, and regulatory requests. The role will support compliance monitoring by collecting information, updating tracking logs, and ensuring that required documentation is complete and properly maintained.

Key responsibilities include preparing routine compliance reports, coordinating meetings and training sessions, maintaining policy acknowledgement records, organizing compliance files, and supporting communication related to compliance initiatives. The Compliance Assistant will also help track corrective actions, monitor deadlines, assist with document reviews, and provide administrative support for compliance projects and ongoing governance activities.

The role will collaborate with internal departments to facilitate information gathering, support compliance awareness initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvements in compliance administration and record management. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of compliance principles, corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal control concepts is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with administrative support, document management, record keeping, and compliance coordination processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, compliance management platforms, or office collaboration tools is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proactive, dependable, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively supporting team objectives.
