We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals with a focus on food preparation, to join our kitchen team;

You will...

Food Preparation & Handling:
Assist in preparing ingredients such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning and packing

Basic baking skills

Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines

Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and cooked food items

Hygiene & Sanitation:
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas at all times

Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Dispose of waste and recyclables according to kitchen protocols

Inventory & Supplies:
Receive, unpack, and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage

Properly label and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method

Team Support:
Work collaboratively with kitchen members to support our retail operations teams

Assist in packing and organizing food items for distribution

Support other kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisor/managers

You are...

At least 2 years experience in a kitchen environment with a hygiene supervisor certificate (if applicable, not prerequisite)

Demonstrate an interest in Food and Beverage Industry, particularly kitchen side

Can work in a team and independently where applicable

Good with numbers / basic math

Work cleanly and efficiently
